First closing/opening - a little confused about the chemistry

I was thinking of trying a sequestrant for the time being to reduce the green hair but wanted to see if it would likely cloud the water or impact water quality. And if so, for how long? (Hosting a few things over the next couple weeks and while I don’t want any green hair, I’d hate to have a...

First closing/opening - a little confused about the chemistry

Really appreciate the suggestion. If I understand this correctly, if I was already at ~0.13ppm based on fill water and that bottle increased the copper level .38ppm, I'm now north of .5 and liner staining aside, I need to significantly drop the copper level in order for my little one to stop...

First closing/opening - a little confused about the chemistry

Thank you for this info. I had just noticed the liner looked like I needed to do some scrubbing but i’ll take a closer look to see if it is copper staining. I have a grey borderless liner so copper scaling isn’t good. Neither is green hair. Who would have thought one bottle would do this kind...

First closing/opening - a little confused about the chemistry

Now that some time has passed, the water looks great. Thanks for the advice to sit tight. Unfortunately, this year my little one's hair is turning green in our pool. FC 8 CC 0 pH 7.5 Cya 50 Town water tends to have a little copper in it (0.13). I'm afraid that one bottle of copper algecide...

Small biometric safe for Pool Cover Key

My phone doesn't recognize my pruny fingerprints, so I wouldn't want anything pool related relying on a fingerprint. I would go with a combo you can change easily or link it up with arlo or blink to notify you when someone opens it.

    Aquabot vs Dolphin

My dolphin is one of my all-time favorite purchases. If it died tomorrow after just one year of service, I'd by another and not complain about the cost (well, maybe I'd complain a little, but I'd buy another in a heartbeat) Sorry, not a good comparison to the other, but it has been great

First closing/opening - a little confused about the chemistry

Pool was built last year so first closing/opening was included. In late October, the pool builder closed it for us. To my horror, they dumped in a few products I wouldn't have used myself. First empty bottle was Pool Magic + Phosfree the next couple were from a "BASOC Winterizing kit" - quart...

    Pool shed floor ideas

Sorry for the confusion. The 6x16 area will be fully enclosed - like a normal shed where kids might occasionally change or throw pool toys. The overall covered area is bigger but this small area is a pretty normal shed. Epoxy paint or sheet vinylay be the way to go

    Pool shed floor ideas

It isn't cheap - so it's already been ruled out. I was thinking paint or vinyl would offer a reasonable amount of protection for minimal cost.

    Pool shed floor ideas

That is something I could look into - already have some from around the pool before the patio. I was thinking protecting the plywood from water made sense - not sure carpet does it though

    Pool shed floor ideas

Having a pool shed built. It will be open in the front like a pavilion but the back 16'x6' will be closed in with plywood and vinyl siding. Half with be storage and half will be pool toys/changing area. Would you just paint the new plywood floor with some anti slip addative or put down see...
