No. There is air in the filter after it sits. I do not know where it is coming from. It does not appear to be from the suction side. There are no air bubbles in the pump basket, no air coming out of the returns. Is it possible for it to suck air from the return side?

As I get further into this, I don't think it is a suction issue. There are no air bubbles in the pump strainer, so it seems that it is getting enough water. The pressure in the filter is normal and the DE issue has seemed to resolve itself. I took the motor off thinking there may have been an...
