No. There is air in the filter after it sits. I do not know where it is coming from. It does not appear to be from the suction side. There are no air bubbles in the pump basket, no air coming out of the returns. Is it possible for it to suck air from the return side?

It is allowing water to the heater. The heater runs for about 20 min it does heat the water for that bit of time, but after that 20 min or so the banging starts. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That makes sense. The first day and hours we were adding quite a bit of chlorine but as we got closer to last evening, it slowed. Hopefully I just tested poorly and I am still on track. Thanks for the info!
