IT APPEARS THAT THE FUSE IN THE DRIVE PORTION OF MY BT VARIABLE SPEED PUMP BLEW OUT. IT APPEARS TO BE CERAMIC AND SAYS 15A 250 V, BUT SEEMS SMALLER THAN A LOT OF THESE TYPES OF FUSES. ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT TYPE OF FUSE IT SHOULD BE?
So, I got my BT drive box off tonight and it looks like I may have fried the fuse. The fuse says it’s 15A 250V but I have no idea what type of fuse it is or if I can get it at ACE or another hardware store. Can anyone help suggest the type of fuse it is?
I'm wondering if there's an internal breaker or two since the LEDs and digital display aren't coming on. I figure if it was just the motor then the display would still come on
I don't have a problem working with electricity, I just didn't know if there was anything special I needed to do or if I just flip the switch and touch the multimeter to the connections on the motor
I do have a multimeter, but I'm not sure exactly how to test the voltage at the pump motor. It's 220V and 2 years old. I can take pics of the pump tonight or tomorrow, unfortunately the labels have come off the pump or are coming off and too torn up to read
