    IC40 install with iAqualink

Yes, its correctly wired to the load side now. I turned the pump on and off to test it a few times and the SWG correctly powers up and down appropriately.

    IC40 install with iAqualink

Thanks for the quick reply. It was my mistake. I was certain I wired it to the LINE side but I had it backwards. Switched the wires and all is good. Thanks again!

    IC40 install with iAqualink

I wired it off the same relay as the pump and heater but for some reason the SWG is always powered on. Am I correct, the SWG should have no power until the pump comes online?

    IC40 install with iAqualink

I figured as much but not concerned as I don’t mess with the chlorine output very often. Do I wire it on top of the pump wires on the same relay?

    IC40 install with iAqualink

Couple of questions. I’m installing an IC40 with the iAqualink system. Is there any way these two will communicate with each other to where I can control it with my app? Or will I be running the IC40 independantly? Second, question on wiring... I’m running a Pentair Intelliflo pump with my...

    Burning through chlorine

I did the SLAM after. Is this a new acronym for here? I’ve been on here off and on for years but don’t recall it being called this??? I’m about 4 days into the process. Does it usually take this long?

    Burning through chlorine

Hi! I’ve had a few patches of yellow algae over the last few weeks. They scrubbed up with no problem. I’m in the process of super chlorinating (liquid 10%) the pool to wipe it out. The pool looks great but I’m burning through chlorine. Going from a 20ppm to 2.5ppm. I have scrubbed the pool and...

    Adding JVA to water feature

Okay, thank you everyone, its all working now! The way Dodger suggested worked! Not sure why it didn’t at first attempt.

    Adding JVA to water feature

The handle isn’t on it but I don’t believe so. I will double check to be sure. This JVA is supposed to be full open or close.

    Adding JVA to water feature

Maybe the better question is: Can I add a JVA valve to an open Aux port?

    Adding JVA to water feature

PoolGate, thanks for the reply. What would your suggestion be for the proper way to physically wire and program the valve for my deckjets?

    Adding JVA to water feature

Thanks Dodger. I tried that but no luck. I assigned the cleaner port to Aux 6 in the JVA menu. I went into the Aux menu and renamed it to “deck jets.” Just to be clear, I don’t have anything plugged physically into the Aux 6 port? The JVA is plugged into the cleaner port.

    Adding JVA to water feature

Hello, I recently upgraded my controller to the iAqualink system. Easy upgrade and everything works right out of the gate with the exception of one JVA valve. I’m having trouble setting up one of my water features. Aux 1 - activates secondary pump and sheer descent. I need to activate a JVA...

Question on upgrading from PDA to iAqualink

I have the Aqualink PDA system which I have it set to control my pool, spa, heater, lights, waterfall, deck jets and gas fire feature. If I upgrade to the iAqualink, will I have to reprogram all the features and valves? I’m guessing yes since it will require changing the board...at least I think...
