    Opening Today!

Previous owners built this pool so not 100% familiar with everything. I could not find nor have seen since I have been here an opening to where this would drain to. It looks like it just goes underground 🤷‍♂️. Could it be something other than waste?

    Opening Today!

I do not know any better to be honest. Is it better to have it partially open then or is it most likely waste?

    Opening Today!

Just for a newbie to learn. So the two suction valves are open (Assuming these are A&B) I usually keep WF closed so thats ok for now like you said (C) Valve D needs to be OFF to the pipe going underground?

    Opening Today!

Been a very mild winter and I am tired of looking at the cover as we are hitting close to 80's early this week. It is the first time I am opening my pool and had someone help close it last winter. I have gizmos out and pipes/pumps plugged back, however I am curious if the ] guy did anything...

    Skimmer Water Level Difference

I put painters tape to mark the skimmer water levels so i can complete a 24 hour bucket test.. Today the results showed that the deep end skimmer and the bucket happen to be about the same amount of water loss, however the shallow skimmer had lost about 1/8-3/16 more water. Any thoughts on...

    Skimmer Water Level Difference

Going through a number of tests for a leak detection, one of the things i noticed is that my water level is a little lower on my shallow end skimmer vs the deep end skimmer (main drain area). Lower in terms of measuring the water level with a tape measure relative to the skimmer opening size. Is...

    Sump pit filling daily

After a bucket test it seems i have about a 1/8 - 1/4 leak per day on top of the evaporation. I have not yet had a pool leak company come out yet but I have been observing one thing. We have barely had any rain over the last few weeks and yet my sump pit is filling up about half way each day...

Having a hard time between dirt, pollen and possible mustard/yellow algae

Finally was able to start SLAM process last night. It is my first time SLAMing and was not sure if this is normal for fighting some sort of algae as my FC is getting eaten alive as i blow through bleach. Pool is in direct sunlight but has not been too sunny today. Brand new filters put in once...

Having a hard time between dirt, pollen and possible mustard/yellow algae

Planning on getting this done in a few days when I have some time. Is there any harm in immediately going to the MA SLAM? i believe it had it at 29.5 ppm for a cya of 50.

Having a hard time between dirt, pollen and possible mustard/yellow algae

Just completed an OCLT and it remained the same. I have a hard time believing though this is not algae as it keeps coming back in the same spots every single day. I am going to give filter, skimmers, stairs etc.. a good cleaning and boost my SWG and see if that helps. After a few days if the...

Having a hard time between dirt, pollen and possible mustard/yellow algae

Added as many pics as I could with the best pictures I could get right now. Did not have this problem last year and thought it would go away after our insane few weeks of pollen in early spring. I vacuum and brush almost daily. It really looks like dirt and is in the same spots all the time on...
