Thanks ALOT tfp !!!!!

If you have Alexa or another GPT agent integrated into your pool automation, you can just tell them to monitor the water level by looking at the pool with the backyard camera and to close the waste valve when the water level gets to the correct level.

A TFP clear pool confuses the camera system and a GPT agents arm is not yet long enough to turn my MPV.

I once forgot to go pick my kids up at school because of TFP … thankfully the office called to remind me that I am required by law to take my kids back at the end of the day … you’d think after reminding me everyday of that fact, they’d get tired of calling 🤔

Maybe create one of those infinite loop phone trees.

Hello, you have reached the Joyful household, your call is very important to us, please listen to the choices carefully.

For Billing, please press 1.
For Customer Service, please press 2.
For questions about cats, please press 3.
To place an order for delivery, please press 4.
For instructions on how to iron your shoes or paint your house, please press 5.

Just make an endless list of options that goes on forever.

If they press a number, have it go on permanent hold with horrible music.

I'd go with :

'I'm afraid that in my weakened condition, i could take a nasty spill down the stairs and subject myself to further school absences.'

Re: the skimmer, my old pool skimmer also had a bigger tolerance for water level. The swimline one I have now also needs to be almost perfect to avoid bubbles or issues. That means I’ll be playing the fill/drain dance all summer.

I recently cleaned up my alarms & did away with the rouge ones. Along with cleaning up my phone in general.
Very proud of my new found simplicity 😂

I drained a couple inches off of the pool twice over the weekend, and with the soaking we got again last night it was almost over the top of the skimmer again this morning, so I'm going to have to lower it again later today.

We easily hit 4" of rain over the weekend.

So because I shut the pool off for maybe the 3rd or 4th time in 11 years, I inadvertently stumbled upon an issue that could affect non 24/7 folks.

When I fired the pool back up because the water level was raised enough by the rain, the skimmers were pulling diluted top water, and it triggered the low salt light. I gave it 15 mins or so and rebooted it forcing another self check and it wasn't mixed well enough yet. It should be fine at the next 12 hour self check because i was around 3400 before the rain, but for anyone running a 5 FC, that could cause problems if they lost FC production for 12 hours. I had no such qualms knowing I was running hot with 10+ FC.

What is your water temp that you have your SWG generating?

My water temp is in the 50s still. 54 water temp with 49 air temperature right now.

I am not putting more salt in the pool until the weather is warm enough to use the heater to get the water up to SWG operational temperature.

I drained another inch+ out last night. I did dump two gallons of 12.5% into the pool to keep the FC up.

It's been hovering around 60 eventhough that's been the daily high so far. I guess zero shade is helping me pick up just enough heat.

It did shut off one night that was 36, but it was back on when I got home from work.
