So this happened

See if you have one of these things in front of your house.
Last time I ran 2.5 inch line to my irrigation pump, which was I don't even know how big but it was bigger than the intelliflo, and it took 4 hours to get as high as the light and 3 hours to get the rest of the way.

I probably paid in electric what they pay for water out west, but the water was free so I had that going for me. This time is town water so I'm guessing $150 or so for 34k gallons.

Though I have never seen a sprinkler system plumed in before the house plumbing..
1 inch from the street comes through the slab and 1 inch leaves to the sprinklers while the house feed reduces to 3/4 going up. The sprinkler line picks up poly pipe outside this wall.

You don’t have to crawl under a crawl space on you belly to get to your main shut off! Fancy! I have to shut mine off at the meter in the yard because of that.

1.4… I don’t think it’s that simple I mean if the hoses are different diameters and length….
Of course. Hence why I said 1.4(?) :ROFLMAO:

Too many factors, but many folks think a second hose from the house doubles the rate of flow and It sure helps some, but not double.

Definitely not double! But every hour counts when anxiously waiting for a pool to fill…
