So this happened

Maybe he needed to go buy sunscreen?!
With all this time to twiddle our thumbs, we were in no rush doing the fence however long ago and I absolutely LAUNCHED on the schedule maker / manager guy calling me at 5pm that they wanted to come the next day.

OK pal. It's 5pm. Can you just bang out of work in the morning with no notice ? Your boss doesn't care, right ? No biggie ? Or do you have to give them some notice, shy of an absolute emergency ? How come you respect your job but not mine ? You promised me two weeks notice and here we are 5pm the day before ? You either give me some notice, or you come on a Saturday.

Now that it's crunch time, things are different and if somebody needs me tomorrow, that rectal glaucoma is gonna be flaring up again.

Thank you to previous poster who said not to look up “rectal glaucoma”

I hope they all get their act together and get this done soon. It’s almost prime pool time!!

If you do, the joke that 'you can't see your butt going to work today' comes up.

@kne joked that she had to look it up to get the joke.

There are no harmful pictures out there. Phew. :ROFLMAO:

I feel ya. *THIS* is how folks get overwhelmed and forget to enter CYA in pool math which then gives them insufficient targets to hit. It's not you. It's them. (And we got you when it gets screwy)
If the plumber who did our electrical hadn't shown up, it would have been a good thing. Much of the electrical they did will have to be torn out and replaced.
You didn't come the other day but you're coming Friday ??
No they aren't. I can't tell you how many times I changed my schedule to make sure I was here and no one came. The builder's response was, "they said they were". Even when it was just him (who he controls entirely) he was a no show. Time after time after time.

Electricians came today and I only had to catch one screw up. I guess they thought we'd play bonding wire limbo when using the stairs. You hafta zoom in to see it better but yeah. It only had enough slack to go a foot away from the shell and the top stair is 4ft+ back. (Not nearly enough to go under the stairs either) But I was home to point it out so I have that going for me, which was nice. 20220613_113946.jpg

Neat new outlet spot in the new style panel so you can close the door :

FWIW I overheard the crew foreman asking the owner about it on a phonecall. The owner (master electrician) said that Pentair fixed the phantom trips and they don't need the special breakers anymore.

Has anyone heard similar ?

No I haven’t head that. I can confirm that mine has been perfectly fine and hasn’t tripped once since I replaced the breaker with a Siemens QPF2.

I find it upsetting that you have to babysit some of these pool building folks. What’s so hard about just doing what is supposed to be done?
Anyhow, glad to see this progress and so happy that you caught the bonding situation.
