eyeballs in the walls, pop-ups in the bottom of the pool. Think that’s it! So maybe I’ll set that one at the 50-50 mark and see how it goes. I’ll also try the 20% on the actuator valve near the check valve. Again, thank you for helping!

Cap,

If I were in your shoes, I'd want to know what the valve actually controls...

I suggest that you set the valve so that you shut off one of the two pipes and see what works and what does not. Then turn the valve 180 degrees and shut off the other pipe and see what works and what does not.

Once you know what each pipe does, then make a decision where you want to set the valve. That said, I suspect that 50-50 will work. Personally, I like having most of my return water going to my wall eyeballs. This helps the skimmers work well. Floor returns do not really do much.

Thanks,

Jim R.

Now that I think about it, I wonder if the plastic valve immediately to the right of the tablet chlorinator should be adjusted as well?

That valve and pipe bypasses your heater and chlorinator. So opening the valve reduces flow through the chlorinator and sends more unchlorinated water to the pool.

I use an SWG and don’t know what the best setting is.

Can’t thank you all enough. Very helpful forum. Much appreciated!
