Imagine Illusion 40 Complete 10/19/21

just FYI, technically your builder should be the one doing the 1Call. If they get nit picky yours isn’t valid
I've never had an issue using 811. When you call them, to dig anything and hit something, you're not responsible. That's the whole point of calling.

I do landscaping/excavation by trade..... 811 is an excellent resource for sure. The issue arises that in the way that the laws and regulations are written, the person or entity doing the digging is *technically* supposed to be the one doing the location. Even if I have a property owner that has had their lines located, I still call myself for the CYA factor. If your PB is worth his salt he should have a PAOC subscription and should have handled that, it shouldn't have been up to you.

I think a lot of businesses must be getting away from it because I looked at my fence contract n it says I'm responsible for it too. 2 separate business and none want to do it? At least I did it.

A couple videos. Here's the first one. Second is uploading. I cant even tell you all how excited I am. My PBs have pulled strings with the manufacturer to piggy back off of a delivery team to get this pool here on Thursday. They are working hard to get it here even though we had no work to show for it. There has been a lot of behind the scene work done.

Congratulations as I know you were almost accepting a 2022 date. Happy for you that 2021 build is happening and hopefully some of the supply chain issues have cleared up and you can complete before old man winter rears his ugly head. I'm on my last 3 days of mess and we have been able to swim a few times, maybe even this weekend as one last weekend of warmer weather is here and we have a auto-cover now on (although the bench was measured wrong and needs replacing. the cover is bolted in and working. I was a hawk on everything watching everyday that they were here so have your eagle eyes on. Follow the Reagan adage, trust but verify!

The pool should be completed in less than 2 weeks. I took off to watch them n make sure I could see where the lines are n take pics.

Pics are free. The cloud will now store them forever, so take 1000. 9 years from now when you want to plant a few bushes you’ll know EXACTLY where to dig carefully. (y)

I just recently had to go back through old pics & look for a water line that we buried for future use & stubbed up that had broken off (thank goodness for the google photos search feature)

*armed and fully trained in subdue-ing techniques.

Is there a *way* under ? I vote way under. :laughblue:
I cant remember all the details and I know its later in the season but I'm still taking the over on this. LOL. Just because if I don't I will get annoyed for how long it took for my fiberglass build which actually wasn't that long when I sit back and look at it. Like a house a lot of time with no activity then furious activity.

PB told my neighbor last week the pool would be done before he got back n he'd only be gone a week. Then the pool was delayed again. They are installing another fiberglass pool a few miles down the road after mine. So they'll load the machinery n drop it off at the next site. I'm thinking if weather cooperates we should be done in a week or so.

Y’all she’s got a plan!
- gonna make them good food 🍴 so they don’t have to leave the site & watch ‘em like a hawk lol 😂
They may leave tired but they won’t leave hungry!
