Totally, I made burgers and kept a cooler stocked with Gatorade. Still have a ton left for the boys finishing the river stone and grass seeding next week. Ok Casey the meter is running!!Y’all she’s got a plan!

They aren't done by a long shot. Granddaughter said yesterday... Hope they are coming back... they still have to dig the deep end.
In my careless youth, that dirt pile would make a great ramp to catch some air....So this is what happens when you slightly dig a pool and we need something to do!!!

Unfortunately my 63 year old husband went back to his youth to relive it in the little dune buggy.In my careless youth, that dirt pile would make a great ramp to catch some air....
We're digging a pool tomorrow!!! I went out today n rough marked the fence line n where I want my pump placed. I'm not very happy about having my tanning ledge so close to my pump but I went to HD today n found some perennials 50% off. I'm going to plant around it to help disguise it so I dont have to look at it. That way it'll still get good air flow and look nice.

Nice. exactly what the Mrs is doing around our pool pad. bushes but I said don't make it too close.
Had a neighbor stop by to ask me if he could have my dirt. I told him I'm using it to level the yard. Hoping I dont need to bring more in. I told him if I have extra, I'll let him take it. I doubt I will though.

When it's all done, can you put a section of vinyl fencing between? My VSP is very quiet but when it ramps up to skim, the 6' vinyl fence takes care of the small amount of noise. The pump is quieter than my old-school A/C units that aren't even near the pool.
My neighbor asked me for a couple tractor loads of dirt as well. But I have a mountain of it in my backyard from where they dug out for the pool house basement so it won't be missed. They are going to flatten out my back yard after it's over with.

They are not here yet. He said around 0900. Its 0815 right now so very soon. Phone is charged n I'll be uploading all vids to youtube to share here.
Baby is not going to be able to come watch the pool install. She is loaded with a bunch of testing n it wouldn't be good to pull her n back her up at school so I'll have to make sure the vids are loaded or she'll be upset. I'm sure she's going to be upset when Momma tells her no.
So... I'm super excited n I've been waiting for this day for many years! Its been a life long dream of mine to own an inground pool and.... IM GETTING A POOL!!!!!

I was on the New Jersey turnpike this afternoon and saw a large FG pool on the move. You never know.

They are done digging for today. They got 3/4 of the pool dug out. I'll post pics first and then I'll post some videos.
I had another neighbor try to buy dirt from me. I'm not getting rid of any of it until we are done. We dug out some pretty big rocks too n I told my builder I wanted to save them. I'll use them to landscape. So... here are some pics.
