For my pool I usually drop it 3" below the skimmers and install skimmer gizmo's. If we get a lot of rain I use a sump pump and drop it back down
The attached spa is constantly getting rain and water, my question is should I just leave a ft of water in it knowing that only the top inch or so might freeze or keep using the sump pump all the time. When I use the sump pump I am not getting any water out of the pipes.
I can't put plugs in the drain valves and they are below ground level
I live in Georgia where we might see mid teens at night but rarely more then a couple of days
