Old Member, New House and Pool

So do you run all three at the same time or just the normal returns with the other two not very often.
My take on the install would be to turn the filter 90° towards the pump that way you should have enough room for the cell possibly even horizontally.

that was where my mind went as it was the only logical way for it to maneuver, it's just a weird setup and my goal is to eventually have that whole area redone

Going that route I would cut A,B,C and E , spin the filter around , replace bother valves mounting them horizontally and fit the SWCG between the output of the filter and the new valve setup. View attachment 132631

thanks for this! One question bother valves? Treat me like a 5yo lol

You may as well and call it done OR leave A,B and C alone and just cut E but, I'm not sure of how much there is left (E) and how it connects to the filter. Is there a mechanical connection like a threaded collar. Can't see from the pictures the specifics. Let's hear what others here recommend.

I guess if you have at least 1+ inches between the green and the red you can do it. You would cut max to the red side leaving the white part in the filter valve and then use that for the new plumbing. View attachment 132658
Would it also work if the OP were to cut on either side of the coupling (the red line and at the Jandy Valve)? And then use a larger fitting on the Jandy valve side with a reducer back to the original pipe size?

Turning the filter 90* certainly looks like the best option

Not familiar enough with what fits over what. You may be right and I thought of that option too but as I'm not sure I don't advise. We'll need to have the crew chime in on this one.

As an update Circupool Edge40 was ordered this morning so probably today and tomorrow, Im gonna see if I can diagram out what plumbing I will need etc..

As another update with SWG coming this week and needing to redo my plumbing anyway, I started thinking about a new pump either dual speed or VS.. I figured my hubby would flip out but he surprisingly said go for it so im open to any recommendations here for that
