Hello! We're looking for a pool timer/controller to run both the heater and single-speed pump. We want to control it with a mobile phone app and/or internet. Must be weather-proof. Seeking suggestions on brand, setup, etc. to be most cost-effective and reliable. Thank you!

For such a simple setup, you could consider a WiOn Outdoor WiFi Smart box BUT...

Another option would be to consider wifi controllable switches rated at 240vAC as I can only assume that your SS pump and heater are wired for 220.

In any case, unless you are knowledgeable and comfortable with the skill sets necessary to perform this type of work, PLEASE consult with a licensed and experienced electrician.

We installed a WiOn a few days ago but it is only for one plug-in, meaning our pump and heater are both on the same power source. Will we ruin our heater if it shuts off while heating? Any way we can leave the heater at 90 and use the timer to run the pump and heater for 4-hour stretches?
