What's the height (above waterline) of the back raised wall running parallel to the house? I like!
2'6". That's about as high as you can go before the engineering starts to get crazy

My plans show the same height (30") on my future build. I was worried it would be too tall and look odd. Seeing yours takes my worry away!
The tile was repaired very late into the night and plaster is underway. I got into a healthy conflict with the inspector that came out for the preplaster inspection... He failed me because one of the heads on a screw on a junction box has snapped off 
He also didn't know what the Easytouch panel was!?!?
At any rate, I went ahead with the plaster any way so hopefully he signs it off this time.

So, just "accidentally" spray on the Mediterranean Blue and then fill the pool. You can then tell them you'll redo it if they really want you too but point out how unique and beautiful it looks....

Wow what a jerk. Most inspectors would have told you to just fix it or else advised you what to do. To fail the entire thing for that shows a high level of hattery.

Seriously... He came back and was upset the pool was being plastered. I asked what a screw had to do with the pool surface??? He signed the card and left...
