Vegas OB! Just got plans back and need some feedback (pics included :) )

Will, now I can easily find your house when I get out there in Oct. I am going to go stand on the hill between Southpoint and Grand View and look for the biggest twinkling star at the base of the mountains. Like a disco ball! I LOVE it. How exciting to me is how much larger the pool looks when the plaster goes down. I dont know if you have ever had a house built, but much like the pool, it grows and shrinks in appearance depending on the stage that it is in. I have noticed that with the pool as well and how cool is that to me, it looks bigger with the plaster and water going in. I know I am a few hours ahead of you so it is only 530am Vegas time but I cant wait to see more pics!!

Ok so more updates, I was in the back with the masons cause we are adding the bench to the back of the seating area. My plan was to wait a few months and then magically cash flew from my pockets to his lol. But on a more serious note my wife really wants it's and kept saying how she would love to see it so I'm surprising her with it.
She is so use to seeing people work in the backyard she has not noticed they are building her bench. So today I will be a hero and husband of the year and tomorrow she will bring me back to reality lol
So 16 hours in (7:30am) and over 12k gallons in and we are still just filling along. Mama Suz was so right when she said you don't sleep and I'm not sure to be happy or sad about last night but it is exciting.
I actually really love he water color and wish it would stay :(

It's so sparkly and it's just fill water , hard to look at in the sun

The walls are shiny, it's hard to really capture the "bling" but you can even see off my bad camera phone

The bench at the elevated seating area

When done it will look something like this

GO BIG (Will), OR GO HOME! :rambo:
That is BEAUTIFUL! The tile on the steps and the color is AWESOME! Should be stunning tomorrow! Hopefully it will be sunny. You really got a wonderful deal if the guy comes with, in the last picture!

Well 2 days ago my wife would have paid you to take me Hahahah but today because of the bench I'm priceless for a few hours lol.
Oh the life of a happy married man.

What a sweetheart you are!! Your wife will be so happy! She might not bring you back down to earth for several days!!

There I go preparing you for green water, and it doesn't happen!! Must be all those beads and shells. The water color is gorgeous now! It may not change. I bet if it does, it will be even prettier. I'll check out spool's older build thread to see if his water changed much. He had tons of beads added to his plaster.

What does your wife think of the water so far?

Here's a pool with tons of beads added like yours. I don't think he added shells. It wasn't totally green to begin with like many others. The water definitely lost the touch of green it first had 3 weeks later after being filled. It's hard to say for sure how each pool color will change after balancing the water. .

On the day of the fill.

About 3 weeks later.

That bench should keep you out of the dog house for a while!
Love the sparkle pool! Maybe the color won't change too much.
I wish my water was a little darker, but it's not very deep, & maybe the water would be even hotter if it was....
have you gone in yet??

Looks great Will and the water pressure on your side of town must be higher than mine. It took over 30 hours to fill mine. Your water color is amazing, it should only fade slightly if any. I think you will be happy with it and if your not I know there are a few around here that will take it off your hands.

So I have not gone in yet and it took exactly 24 hours to fill and it's 18k gallons.
Mama Suz thanks for those pics! His color looks like mine today and if my final color settles like his I will still be extremely happy. I was trying to figure out how to post a video so I can post the bling a little better but I keep failing :( can anyone help me?
Now for more pics :)

You can kinda see some sparkle here

Wow Will! Just WOW! I hope our water color is like yours. And I bet your wife is so happy about thr bench.

For video, do you have photobucket? Photobucket allows video upload. Also, fb does as well and what you do for linking to fb even for those who don't have it is open the video, set to public, on a desk top. Copy the URL. At the end of the URL will be a bunch of numbers after an equal sign. Keep the numbers after the equal sign. Delete what is after the facebook . com except for the set of numbers and put /v/ after the . com and before the set of numbers.

Example

www . facebook . com /v/ 12345678

But without the spacing. And that will link to your video from fb. Or upload to Photobucket and copy the link address from there and link here.

That looks amazing! What a change from just 1-2 weeks ago. The bench is going to be a great spot to sit, put stuff down, etc. What color pebble did you end up going with? It looks great with all of the beads and shells! I'm already stealing some ideas for finishing off my pool. I have 10 days to go before my interior is scheduled, and my tile goes in on Wednesday, so I'm almost done making these decisions.

The last 2 weeks have been a blur and went from dirt and junk to nice pool and deck. It still amazes me how fast this happened especially since it was slow moving for a little bit.
We ended up going with stonescapes tropics blue with a custom flair. We added 2 bags of black per batch instead of the 1 it calls for which made it slightly darker..... just don't tell the wife lol. She still thinks it's the color she picked cause it's so shiny so I'm just letting her boast a little about it. She even had the nerve to tell me I should have listened to her and how she always ends up being right and I didn't need the darker color and that this color is perfect ...... Hahahah jokes on her
Thank you all for the compliments, we are so happy and looking forward to finishing the rest of the project.
I will try to figure how to post videos so I can show a little bling

You're sneaky! Better hope she doesn't get on here & find you out - you might end up in the doghouse after all! [emoji23]
