Under Construction! Cypress/Tomball TX New pool build, small yard

:grrrr::grrrr: I am so mad right now, the guy never showed to do the start up!!
I called the PB and told him. PB told me to pour in the Jacks Magic Magenta (couldn't find ingredients) and said he'd get the guy out to start up equipment. I poured it in and brushed the pool and waited to hear back from PB.
An hour and a half later he tells me the start up guy won't be out until tomorrow!

We want pics! We want pics! The chant go up through out TFP! We want pics! LOL

Kim :cat:
Here is what the water looked like at start up this morning As you can see it's pretty cloudy. There was quite a bit of dirt and debris in the pool (especially the spa) and when he started up the bubblers on the tanning ledge brown dirty water came out, I was like, no!:grrrr: anyway after brushing it looked a little better, but still cloudy and slightly green.

Here's a close up of the Tanning Ledge...

I cant wait to see what it looks like after a few days with the filter working 24/7!

Very nice! The reward for a couple months of grief.
Now some cold beer or chilled wine while enloying the hot tub this weekend and it will all have been worth it.
Unfortunately we can't turn the heater on for three weeks. BTW, thanks for reminding me, I also need to upgrade the gas meter.

Tested the water...
PH 7.2
TA 80
FC 8 - I know this is high, but I checked twice, 16 drops/2=8
CC 0
CYA 0
CH 275

We're still under start up by PB so they're controlling everything for now. I'm not sure of what they put in to drive the FC so high though?
When he started it up yesterday he put a ton of MA in, some CH and the bottle of Jacks Magic Magenta Stuff. I had added 50 oz. of 8.25% bleach, but that was two days ago and shouldn't have raised the FC that high.
