Can someone help me see where I am wrong. I have this wired but the timer, when set to on, doesn't like this and starts rapidly switching (I think).

I have an spdt switch controlling Hi and Lo speeds and a Tork DTU40 (nsiindustries.com/UserFiles/Documents/Product/LI-885.D.DTU40instn.EN.FR.SP.090513.pdf) as the timer.

I greatly appreciate your help.

I was able to resolve this. I had split the load going to pump common to also go to the timer supply. It needs to be coming from the load that also goes to the speed switch. I have updated the drawing for those who may come later asking a similar question.

I am not an electrician. Use this example to troubleshoot at your own risk.
