wireless temperature gauges

To watch pool water temp? I’ve got an Ambient Weather station, can support up to 8 channels. Most of my sensors are temp + humidity, on different floors of my house and outside. I’ve also got a couple of temp only sensors with probes on them. These probes can dangle in the water. I’ve had this system going since December of last year, no issues with the pool sensor so far.

However the transmitters themselves must stay out of the water, though they can be rained on (mine gets rained on). Do you have a spot you could put a sensor out of the water then run a sensor into the water?

They also have floating sensors for pools, that work with some of the base stations. I don’t have experience with that type of sensor though. I can say I’ve had zero issues with any of my 6 current sensors, everything just works. No internet, just a small base station that reliably works. And it logs onto a microSD card too, so you can save the data. I consider it the perfect amount of smarts without a bunch of fluff that tends to break on similar things that try to cram in WiFi and Bluetooth and cheaply developed apps.
