Hi, thanks for the help I got from this forum, last year my pool ended up being very clear from August to closing. I was struggling at the beginning of the summer and read all the posts on this forum.
This year I just had my pool opened by my pool servicer. Since last year my pool had a good ending, I was expecting it to be an easy open, water clears in a few days. However, after two weeks, the water still look cloudy. And the filter has been running non-stop so far. And I think my filter is working ok. Today I tested the water using the leftover TF-100 test kit from last year. The CYA is around 20, FC is 7, CC is 0, TA is 110, CH is 425.
So my questions are , 1) Is it normal to take more than 15 days to clear the water? 2) Is the test kit from last year still effective?
