Currently have a 26,500 gallon in ground pool 1.5" plumbing with a pentair superflow 1.5hp VS pump and a Hayward DE 36sq grid filter. The current filter works great, however we are in the military and will be moving and renting the house out for 3-4 years and want to switch to sand for the ease. Not sure what size sand filter to go with and is it worth the extra for a side mount?
