When the overflow just can't keep up with the rain

Last weekend's rains came down hard and the drain just couldn't keep up. Only took an hour to drop down once it quit though

I was waiting to see if it would go over the edge, and confirmed that thankfully the coping and deck slopes ever so gently away from the house like it should. Learned that the yard is also graded well, I had one heck of a river flowing around the edge of the deck and out the back side of the fence.
