What's your current pool temp?

We ran our Hamilton, Ontario, Canada swimming pool until January 11th, often with temps ranging from 95F to 100F.

See FAQ: Cheaply Keeping a Pool Hot -- 90F,95F,100F -- How we ran till Jan 11th in Canada

It's now closed up, but during a moment of dormancy, we ran the pool heater for almost 48 hours to heat from ~48F to ~96F, and it still cost less than ~$100 of gas to start that weekend off. After that, it was not too much bother to maintain the temps.

It helped that the December was unusually warm. The natgas bill for December was only $211... (it surprised even me -- thought it'd be twice that).

We have had few warm days in a row (mid-70's). The pool water almost hit 58F yesterday. Another degree higher and the SWG will kick back in.

Still too cold to swim though....unless you're part seal.

So nice outside 72, but pool at 54, just too cold to start the heater, or jump in.

Me too! Nice but a cold pool. Mine will take to end of May to get warm up good.
