Well, I just folded up the middle finger emoticon. I just jumped in. 55.4 degrees. I dropped a ladder trim ring and a brass anchor in the pool when I knocked over the bucket with everything in it when I was putting the anchors back in. My kids think it's hilarious and they want to get in. My wife said I better not get in with it that cold. I'm not a baby. That was a direct challenge. It was like swimming in liquid snow.

Lol @ "I am not a baby". 55 degrees... That's insanity. My pool had better never be that cold. And BTW, I wont jump in a pool that is less than 85. The anchor and everything else would have stayed in until summer.

I went white water rafting on the ocoee river on my senior trip March of '00. I'm pretty sure it was the same temp or colder than my pool. I still stand by the "I'm not a baby". Let's just say it was peer pressure in '00, and alcohol today.

Mine was 62 today. I opened 3/24 and it was 47 degrees. My kids have swam for a bit pretty much every day since we opened.

Tested my new heat pump today. 71 to 74 in 6 hrs., cloudy day. Hopefully be at 80 in a week. I'll probably take my first plunge tomorrow.

We hit 83 yesterday. Today will be our first swim. Last year it was mid May before we hit 82. Looking forward to a long swim season this year!

We made it all the way up to 75 and we were swimming. With the rain/overcast fo rthe last week we are back down to 70.
