What's your current pool temp?

Been warm here lately in Mesa Arizona and it looks like the warm weather will continue. My current water temp is about 68 so I'll put the solar cover on and open up the solar heaters. I should have it in the 80's by next weekend.

I love Arizona. HA!

Was in the 60's here today, so decided to pull back the cover. Was shocked to see water! Thought it would still be a block of ice. At any rate, lots of icebergs floating around but 99% liquid! And the question at hand ... the temp measures 40! BRRRRR

Will celebrate with each 10 degree increment!

Asked the wife to guess the temp, she looked at it and said "60" and I about cracked up!! ha ha

I fired up my solar over the weekend ... seem to be gaining about 5-6 degree during the day from 65 up to 71, but losing it all at night ... I should really get a cover

Solar and auto cover is working good, went in both Saturday and Sunday at 75 deg, was up to 77 deg Wednesday afternoon. Weathers been in the low / mid 70's during the day dropping to 35 / 45 at night.

Jason, you are a great ad for getting a solar cover. I lose less than one degree using the solar cover. I finally cut it into three strips and a few scraps and it is so much easier to get on/off the pool. Now, if I can just figure out how to keep it from fall off the table, chair, fence, or whatever I lay it on. Regardless, solar cover is the way to go.

There are some DIY solar cover saddles on the forum that people have made out of PVC pipe. Do a search of the forum. ?

Ours is in the mid seventies at the moment. Heated it last Friday overnight and it was 90 when we got up on Saturday morning - perfect for the wife! (I'll happily get in when it's in the 70's so long as it's not freezing outside).

We've had many 70-75 days since I replaced the water. I don't have a thermometer but I felt it yesterday and it felt about 60-65...ish
