What's your current pool temp?

Current local daytime highs are in the 80's night time lows are about 60 now. POOL TEMP TODAY IS 87!!! (with help from the solar heater & cover) we're loving it. We've been swimming since early March now since the last freeze was about Feb 20th. I live for summer!

Mine is running about 76 or so. We use the Infinity 4000 cover so I'm undecided if that is helping warm the pool or keeping the sun from warming it? I am recently retracting the cover during the sunny days now to let some excess chlorine burn off. 76 felt great to me (after that first gasp) last week.

I'm now at 71ºF using solar and a relatively thin opaque electric safety cover, but was up to 74ºF before it rained the last couple of days. Average day/night temps have been 51ºF so the solar this time of year wouldn't be expected to get much above 76ºF anyway, but we're due for warmer weather with day/night average moving toward 60ºF at which point the solar could get well into the 80's. Starting tonight, I'll use gas to heat it up so my wife can start swimming. [EDIT] Got it to 88ºF after running gas around 18 hours and and my wife is in the pool now for therapy exercise. [END-EDIT]
