Being the overly curious person I am, I was wondering what the difference between the "TFP Expert" and "TFP Guide" badges members wear on their profile.
Welllllll........a TFP Expert is someone who has exhibited over time that they are pretty dang well knowledgeable in at least one particular area concerning pools......and Guides are folks that are recognized for being on the forum for a good while and being most helpful to helping folks with good advice and the manner in doing so.
Experts are just pool party bums who hid better when the Admins came asking for help
Erm... I mean I appreciate everything you do Woody. I for one think pink flamingos are the epitome of style and everyone else are just squares who don't get it.
Admins and mods run the site. They are the ones who can do something if you're naughty.
Guides are users who have proven knowledgeable and helpful. They know a little about a lot. If you have a problem they are likely one of the first to chime in.
Experts are users who have proven exceptionally knowledgeable. Helpfulness optional but recommended. We know a lot about a little and a little about a lot. When it comes to me, I've just read a LOT. Others are actually experts IRL in things like chemistry or plumbing. But with our powers combined we are: Trouble Free Pool! Go TFP!
