Magic lube - please explain difference blue I and red II

Yesterday I learned there are 2 different types of Mighty lube. A blue PTFE based lubricant and a red version which is silicone based.

What the difference functionally ?

What is the better product - for pool O rings ?

Or if they have their own place which product gets used where ?

PTFE is Teflon.
ML II is silicone.
Silicone does not promote o-ring degradation.
Use ML II or other silicone lubricant.
