What SWCG to put in

A T-15 will create 16ppm per day in your pool, pump 24/7, and cell at 100%. An RJ-45+ will create 22ppm per day running pump 24/7, and cell at 100%.

Both are a bit of overkill, but not a problem.

An RJ40, when Circupool has the promotion for upgrade for $10, is about $1300.

If you can drop in a T-15 cell, assuming you don't need a controller because you have the Goldline, the cost is about $900.

Assuming you can manage your pool water, and get the same life...
Cost / output = $/FC
$1300 / 22ppm = $60 RJ-45+
$900 / 16ppm = $56 T-15

I'd drop in the T-15, and don't look back.

You can't go wrong either way.

Either will work good.
It may come down to whether you need to replace the controller or not.

I have a 12.3k pool with an RJ45+. It's rated a bit more than 3x my pool volume. Even in the passed several weeks of 110+ temps, I've been running 24/7 at 20%. No issue at all.

The T-15 cell will be similar in runtime/percentage.

Thanks guys. I only need the T-15 cell as usual but I was thinking that maybe it's time to jump to Circupool so that the replacement cells are less costly. I see that the RJ-45/60 cells are $690 to $795 so they aren't too far from the $899 of the Hayward cell but I certainly like the longer RJ warranty and that the RJ cell will fit where the T-15 is now if I choose to change it over.

My experience and tests indicate the output of the RJ-45+ is just over 70% of its claimed output. This makes sense as it does appear to be a copy of the T15. I'm guessing the vendor's claims are based on lab conditions under max amps.
