What size pool?

How long do you plan on living there? And how do ya'll think you would use the pool? Would you be disappointed or have regrets if you didn't have a spa, a sun shelf, a grotto, a large rock waterfall, diving area, or couldn't swim laps? Are you guys very social with lots of people dropping by or having wild and crazy parties (you can still do that with a few people and a smaller pool - hee hee!)?

Those are some of the questions I would ask myself.

Hi! We are currently building a pool and is 17 1/2 ft by 33ft with another 9 x9 spa and tanning ledge. After they dig the hole, I wanted to go to 16ft and they told me it will be $4K more. I'm extremely frustrated and devastated. Do you have a photo of your pool to see what it looks like?

Late to the game - but my pool is 33X17 and we were so worried it would be too small. Now that it is in the ground - it seems so big. We have a big backyard. (live on an acre) - but it still seems like a big pool . . .

If I had a million dollars I would have a pool and lazy river going around it - so I do think everything is relative :) But for us 33X17 (waterline to waterline) is pretty darn big.

Good luck, no matter what you decide you will LOVE it!

Here's what you can do.

Go back to Sunbaby's post you copied, and click on the blue link 'My Pool Build" in her signature. That will take you to her pool build, so you can see pictures of her pool.
