Honestly, I check the skimmer baskets each day and use the net to get anything floating out each morning. I also use the net before I get in. Pool robot gets the rest. Maybe 5 minutes.

Weekly, I usually test and adjust SWG and Muriatic Acid. And I brush (yes, I brush) the top of the tile and the hot tub. Then I clean the Hot Tub with the pool blaster. Maybe 20 minutes.

I check the skimmer & pump basket every couple days unless there’s alot of debris. Check fc in pool & fc & ph hot tub every few days & supplement w/ liquid chlorine as necessary (my pool’s swg is undersized).
my pool ph & ta never really moves so I haven’t added acid since the beginning of last season.
Robot runs every day on a schedule so i clean his basket every 4 or 5 days unless there’s heavy debris.
I decided to be less ocd this year & just allow the skimmer & robot to do their jobs so i have only manually skimmed a few times like after a storm or to get rid of an ant swarm so we could swim. I have only brushed after adding salt/bleach or to sweep the steps occasionally. Robert the robot seems to get the liner squeaky clean.
I visually look at the pump & swg’s every day to confirm they are functioning properly & look at the psi while I’m outside doing other things.
I check salt & cya every couple of weeks unless I’m adjusting or there’s been alot of rain/backwashing.
I only check ch at opening as mine is about 50, I never add any calcium to my vinyl pool.
i have a roto molded hot tub w/ what is probably a super cheap heater so sometimes i add a little when i refill.
My hot tub stays quite clean since it’s covered 24/7 & we have the rinse your feet rule 🦶. If I feel any grit in the bottom I usually just use my scum bug or fish tank net to grab it up while i’m in there.
