what does it mean for pool to be crystal clear?

I've included a before picture and two after pictures. We started SLAM about 14 days ago. I'm not sure what clear means because I can see down to the deep end clearly for the first time. However, I cannot see to the bottom of deep end from a second floor window of the house (first picture), not sure if it means it's clear or not. (I do know that we need to vacuum it still because you can see dirt at the bottom) This picture was taken on a cloudy day, not sure if that changes anything.

Sand Filter - have added DE which made psi go from 11 to 20 and now it's been at 20 for a couple of days.
FC: 11
CC: 0
TA: 120
CH: 225
CYA: <20
pH: 7.4

Just wondering if we should keep SLAM going?

Clear is able to see the grates on the main drain easily, whether right at the edge or from the second floor. Or tossing a quarter in the pool and calling heads or tails from the deck. You should at least be able to seethe quarter from the second floor.

If normal pressure for you is 11, and then 12 with the addition of DE, you should have backlwashed and replenished the DE when it hit 14 or 15 psi. Right now your filter is clogged. Low flow equals slow clearing.

You should be cleaning your sand filter when the pressure rises by 25% over clean pressure.
