What do you use on the Loop Loc bolts?

I have a few hard loop loc bolts that are hard to screw down and get back up. I wanted to know what everyone uses on them. I read to use the teflon lube or the same synthetic lube for the pump/filter gaskets.

I wouldn’t use any of the O-ring lube. It will collect sand and dirt which will just make things worse. Years ago when I had a looploc cover, I would just pull the bolts out and rinse all the sand and dirt out of the sockets. I always left them dry, but I suppose that a bit of Teflon spray or some graphite lube wouldn’t hurt as long as you don’t choose anything that will collect and hold dirt and grit.
