I use AquaClarity or Ahhsome- same company, basically the same product (just one is a gel and the other a liquid). I think you'll probably get a similar answer from most on here. It's pretty much the gold standard. I purge twice/year.
And the owner is not only hands on, but will personally take your call and walk you through anything you need if it's more than just reading the instructions on the label. A great product with great support is a golden unicorn these days.
Ahhsome!
There’s several threads here about why many prefer ahhsome vs others with some links to other people’s research & comparisons. They are somewhat similar in cost so I choose the superior option that also takes up less real estate. Honestly Ahhsome may be the cheapest in the long run cuz once you’re actually squeaky clean a little dab will do ya. I haven’t had to buy a container in a couple of years . Its hard to conceal that I am a fan lol
I have also been using the aqua clarity approximately weekly for well over a year and I will continue as the cost is very minimal and since starting it my purges come out clean. I am not sure if I will ever run out since my tub is so small!
I’m a cleaner so purging a spa/tub is oddly satisfying to me.
Ahh some. Note: it dissolves better in water above 90 so if a new fill with cold water, heat up a bowl of water in microwave, dissolve ahh some in it and then pour it in. I got this procedure straight from the guy at ahh some. I did this on a brand new tub 2 weeks ago and was appalled at how dirty and disgusting it was....
