Did the full suite of tests, which I hadn't done in quite some time. Everything is looking good!
And - sigh- I violated one of my biggest rules, the one in my signature about no IoT devices. A SWCG is imminent and, of course, much like the VSP, I can't configure it through the All-Button. I had left my laptop plugged in running the Aqualink Touch RS/Touchlink simulator running, but I discovered a bug - When the Simulator is running, the Aqualink seems to think that the pool has a cover on it, and that the imaginary cover is closed. So it can't run the spillover. It won't automate it according to the schedule and if you try to manually activate it, it throws up an error "Cannot enable spillover, Cover is closed" or something to that effect. You should only expect the best from Jandy.
Anyhow, after searching for months for a wired version of the Touch RS/Touchlink controller, I just gave up and consider it to be unobtainium. I'm convinced Jandy built like 20 of them. So I picked up a used iAqualink 2.0 J-box for $80. Set up a new SSID on the AP closest to the patio (to get around the iAL2.0's mesh network issues), walled it off from the rest of the network, and hooked it up. Works great! Still had to take a shower afterwards to wash off the disgust of putting such trash on my network.
