What did you do to your pool today?

Rechecked chems and added 15 lbs of salt. Soaking now[emoji474]

I'm lucky. I've never had to add salt in over 3-1/2 years now....of course, my CH is at 1200ppm so I'd gladly lug some bags of salt if I could get a little more fresh water exchange

We have had so much rain in the last couple of months. KIM KIM can confirm this [emoji2]

It must feel great though swimming in that soft rain water all the time....assuming it ever warms up enough to swim :paddle:

Installed my swg and was so excited to use it for the first time after my remodel. It was a busy week and I finally got around to it last night. I kept getting a low flow error. I was stumped at first and discovered that the wires to the flow switch were pulled out. Called CircuPool and they said I just need a new plug instead of replacing the entire switch. A cheap part but can't order it until Monday when the parts department opens up.

Added about 20ppm of CYA, between splashing and evaporation it had dropped a bit over time. Bumped the PH down a bit. Gave the daily FC dose....and took a moment to enjoy the sparkly goodness of my TFP.

Following the success of my endeavors with TFP....I am also looking for solutions for the following:
Trouble Free Yard
Trouble Free Finances
Trouble Free Children
Trouble Free In-Laws
Trouble Free Traffic

Retest pool again after I found out that my old 2 year chemicals were giving me incorrect readings[emoji17]lessons learned always use fresh chems [emoji120]

Trouble Free Children Have them earn every breath they take. They will too tired to back talk.
Trouble Free In-Laws Fishing trip out of town when they come to visit
Trouble Free TrafficStay home watching the kids dig to find the buried money!

LOL lets see if any of these ^^^ ideas help

Nothing.

I'm currently at a resort (Squaw Point Hilton) visiting friends we haven't seen in 14+ years. We knew this couple before they had kids and before we were married. Their oldest son is now 17 years old and I remember holding him as a baby. Their daughter is a beautiful 15 year old girl who we remember seeing as infant before we all went our separate ways. Amazing how time flies.

Anyway, I'm hanging out at this resort water park (lazy river, sports pools, water slide, etc) and the water is just gross. Cloudy & gross. The chloramine odors are literally making me nauseous as I sit by the pool.

I want my non-stinky TFP pool [emoji20][emoji20][emoji20]

Got home to my beautiful TFP pool that doesn't reek of chloramines and threw the robot in to go fetch a few leaves...will test chems later today.

As a side note on the stinky resort pool - we brought two changes of swim clothes with us and so when I got home I threw them all in the washer and used hot soapy water with a dash of oxyclean in it (I don't use any fabric softener on swim clothes). When I pulled them out they still reeked of chloramines!! I washed them again with soap and borax, hot cycle and an extra rinse cycle. Finally they came out smelling clean.

Holy cow    I don't know exactly what I was swimming in at that "resort", but it seems it was something just short of a chlorinated cesspool ..... :puker: :pukel:

Trouble Free Traffic
Audiobooks + leave early is my solution

Whew! Nice save! Good lesson for us all!
So what I gathered from this, is I need to send my kids to your house to dig up your back yard and find the money while you are out of town on a fishing trip when your in-laws come to visit. Sounds like a plan!
HAHAHAHAHAHA

We are very grateful you survived! Perhaps we should all start posting test results on their review sites with a link to TFP hehe
