What are these?

I have two of these in the area that surrounds my pool. What are they, and what purpose do they Serve?

They look like drain covers to me.

+1 on the drain covers. Mine in my flower beds look exactly like that and tie into the drainage for the patio and gutters.

Ah, OK, thanks. To drain water from the flower beds i suppose, probably part of the other two drains that are on the patio surface.
