Baby spa approximately 175 gallons. Using a floater. I usually test on Wednesday. If bromine level is within normal range is additional shock necessary? I always shock after use.

If you’re shocking after use that should be plenty.
The once per week recommendation is assuming that you’re just maintaining normal sanitizer levels daily.
When you say you’re “shocking” after each use what exactly do you mean?
What Br level are you raising the tub to and what oxidizer are you using to do this?
