Want to convert to TFPC

Pool maintenance should be a breeze going forward. Add a bit of bleach every day and let the robot do the vacuuming. I switched a year ago and have had nothing but crystal clear water since.

Time to enjoy your pool.

Yes Sfpat, it is just about like brushing your teeth every morning. The E10 does a good job with the ultra fine filter upgrade. A new Wall Whale brush has been a wrist saver.

My test readings from Friday:
FC 6.5
CC 0
pH 7.5
TA 90
CYA 50

I am a little unsure about the TA. My card from the test kit says TA should be 100-120. The chart of recommended levels here says 50-90+. Is there really that wide a range of acceptable levels? Or am I looking at something wrong? It had been at 100 since my first test. After several days of torrential rains and backwashing 2-4 inches, TA was at 50. I got it back to 90 with soda, but wonder now if I overdid it.

Your PH should tell the story with TA, which is a buffer for ph. As long as your ph isn't all over the place, TA is fine.
