Ok so here are some pics from yesterday and I will update more pics later after they are done today. I love to see pics so I will post a lot and if if becomes to much just let me know lol

You are correct my friend lol. I had to hit the gym so I can be sure I'm ready for swim season, you know our neighbors are so close in Vegas they practically live with you. But here we go


Fished dig, pool is bigger than we planned but I never here anyone complaining

Spa area, thanks to beach we made it bigger and it was a good choice since I'm just a little larger than average [emoji41]

They started some trenching


Plumbing is set for Wednesday then steel followed by gunite on next Wednesday

No they didn't tell me but when they measured they formed it 2 feet longer which was ok with me

When I looked at the spa layout all I could think of was Beach spa so asked them if they could make my spa slightly larger because of my size and when I came back from the gym it went from a 4-5 person spa to a 6-7 person spa [emoji7]

It cuts down on the decking a little but I'm super excited about it! Plus we still have a covered patio so we will have plenty of seating space

Yep 2 feet longer even taking into account he steel, gunite, plaster, etc. I was told the shell will be 12" thick all the way around, so if it's thinner that will add another few inches

Well I have been known to be a Mountain of a Man lol. But yes my view is amazing and one of the reason we choose to build our house where we did, one day when the pool is done towards the end of the thread I will post a picture of the sunset with my new pool in the background..... man just saying that has me excited, I'm like a little kid and want this project to be done now!

So as an update for today, they dropped off some PVC 2" schedule 40 and some fill dirt. They should start the plumbing in 2 days then steal to follow. I didn't post a pic of the pipes or dirt cause they didn't look to exciting, however, once plumbing is done I will post lots of pics so the experts can help me out
 
Will, Are you telling me you did not take a picture of something to do with your pool? DUDE what is up with you? Do you feel alright?

Please tell you the kids got to play on that dirt mound! That is what a pool build is for! Enjoying the mess it makes!
