I’m going to be out of town for three weeks and am curious what’s the recommendation for maintaining the pool. I’ll keep the pool running with the SWG to generate chlorine, but I don’t have any idea on what to do for PH. I have to add acid every two or three days as it rises with the new pool. Should I even worry about PH while I’m gone?

If there is no one that can add acid, then you can get a floater and put trichlor tablets in it. They are acidic, and will help with the pH.
When we are gone for more than a week or so, I premix acid in bottles marked off so that each line gives X amount of acid. My brother then adds it every few days. Based on my history of acid additions due to fill water for evaporation.
