My Hayward XL works fine, except...it gets stuck on either of the 2 drains in the pool floor. Does anybody have a tip on how to avoid this?

Not sure how old the cleaner is but if the cleaner is a year old make sure the feet, wings and shoes are in good shape. If the cleaner goes onto the drain and crawls off within a minute or so that is normal. If this is a problem from the beginning make sure the main drain suction is turned off.
