V Green 1.65 rubber washer at shaft?

There is a rubber washer at the shaft next to the bearing... Is it used during the install?

I do not remember if there was one or not... And I just looked and I have 0 pictures of my install...

Yep that is a "slinger" it just sits where it is between the pump body and the motor. The idea being that if the pump seal leaks the "slinger" will print water from following the shaft and going into the motor.

It will save you motor from minor shaft seal leaks but anything prolonged or major leaks are another matter entirely.
