Hi Everyone, 3 rd summer with our 50 + yr old concrete pool. First year, I replaced all the seals and serviced the pump. This yr, The filter was leaking we replaced the diaphragm and backwash valve. The shaft inside the bumper has half inch flat inset rubber washers. The replacement kits washers are round which stops the shaft from moving freely to push the bumper up and down. We were able to use one good flat washer and a too small washer temporarily. The leaking is minimal at this point other than at the top of the bumper. Current issue is we are not getting enough suction in the skimmer to vacuum unless it's in backwash. We lose pressure after about an hour and then we have to backwash to rebuild the pressure to circulate the water enough to get the pool chemicals correct and hold any chlorine.
