Hi all,

I’m hoping someone can help me with an issue I am having during my current construction phase with the plumbers, whom I’ve requested tie into my soft water loop in the garage for my auto fill line.

They don’t think this should be done, and it should have “hard water”, but I’m okay with them disagreeing here.

Issue is, I am still having them plumb to my soft water system but would like some feedback as to how this may best be done. I have attached some pictures here of my current setup, including the configuration behind the drywall.

Does anyone have any recommendations as how they should best to go about this, that way I don’t have to just trust they will do
It “right”?

I will let others advise on the plumbing.

One thing to remember. If you turn off the house water when you leave, you need to have another line that is left 'on', typically irrigation, for the pool autofill to use when the house water is off. Just something to consider.
