Ultra temp rs-485 and intellitouch

Hello new to the ultratemp and cant get it to turn on from my intellitouch. It works manually and has the heartbeat indicator and no error messages. It will just say pool idle and display the water temp on the screen.

Screenlogic shows the heat pump and will let me turn on heat pump only but it just keeps flashing.

Yellow/green in J7 and pin 2/3 on the ultratemp. I added a solar temp probe,tried increasing gpm on my pump with mo luck.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you on intellicenter or easytouch? Intellicenter doesn't use screen logic

At the outside control panel is the heatpump hooked up to the fireman's switch or the data bus?

sorry its an intellitouch and its hooked up to com port 7,i believe thats a dataport.

I assume you have an IntelliTouch...

When things flash, it generally means the system is in some kind of delay.. Waiting for a pump to come on, a valve to mover or???

Check your ScreenLogic delays and see if anything shows up. Also, look to see of you main panel has any flashing lights.

Checked all the delays and everything looks correct. Ive let it run 30min at a time to see if the heat pump will start up.

The app shows everything how it looks in the instructions as far as i can tell. If i unhook the heatup my screen logic reflects that too.

If i run it manually if heatpump works as it should.
