I have a leak in the hose for my Polaris 280. How can I stop the leak?

I'm not sure to be honest. Is the fitting broken in some way? Cracked, bad seal? Fill us in more please.
It does not appear to be cracked or broken as far as I can tell. As the Polaris is moving around the pool, I can see water spraying out at this point in the hose.

I agree with the "give it a good twist". This same thing happens to my Polaris from time to time. It is best to try fixing it with it running so you can see when the gushing subsides. It seems mine always has a slight trickle of water coming from that area, which, according to Polaris, is not abnormal. I can always tell when the trickle becomes more of a gush because my cleaner movement will become sluggish from the lack of water pressure through the hose. Good luck!
