Manual of instruction of the triton say don't use it with FC over 4ppm, but with CYA at 40 i keep the FC level at 7 ppm , minimum 5ppm ....any advice?
Triton Maytronics robot can't work with FC level over 4ppm?

Well, when I bought my house with a pool the CYA was 250. I kept the FC at 20. My Maytronics M5 worked fine....
Ok so i also can use it during a SLAM ?
That will help a lot if i can use the robot with a FC of 16 with CYA 40 during the sSLAM process at night time ,becouse i have a solar pump and at night doesn'r work so i can put the robot inside instead ? Well if you had it in your pool with FC at 20 , i think i'm fine

They don’t take the effects of the CYA into account. But, I don’t think I’d be using it at SLAM levels. FC 16 with a CYA of 40 is a lot more harsh environment than FC 20 with a CYA of 200+. I was nowhere near SLAM level.
