I am about to purchase a Hayward TriStar VS model W3SP3206VSP. I currently have a older rev Jandy automation RS8 system. In doing my research of the install document here it appears that I can use the cleaner (not free on my system currently), and the solar actuator ports. My question is if I have an RS8 shouldn't I be able to use the 7th and 8th ports on my automation system (pictured)? Also the color wheel is no longer used just the light, and do I need the cleaner? Thanks in Advance.

You can get the pump to turn on and off but you won't be able to control the speeds with aqualink. Why not just get a compatible pump?

Link does not work -- for Pentair pumps, you want the Non - SVRS versions. Which one is up to you.

Not sure how that works with your automation. Jandy typically will control a Pentair VS. But not sure on your version.

That pump is fine. The IntelliFlo3 does not come with a pump control pad. You can buy it separately, or plan to use the Pentair Home app when you wish to address the pump controls directly. I would check with vendors that it can be controlled by your Jandy upgraded automation.

With the IQ30-RS iAqualink upgrade you can support any Jandy VS pumps. With Pentair IntelliFlo pumps you will only have basic VS RPM control and no access to their advanced features.

Also, NEC requires the pump CB to be GFCI. You should update yours.
